Accommodation and financial details
The beginning of September is still high season at Sozopol in
particular because of the annual Apollonia Festival of Arts. We
advise you to make your travel plans as soon as possible.
At the moment we have reserved hotel Flagman where the
workshop will take place. Flagman has about 50 rooms and is
within 100 m from the beach. We are negotiating with the nearby Albatros hotel
for additional a little cheaper accommodation.
All rooms in both hotels are with bathroom, some are part of
(two, or one room) apartments. Breakfast is included. Lunch for
all participants will
be in Flagman. In case you wish to share a double room, please
state it in the application form. Reservations for these hotels
will be made by the local organizing committee on the basis of
your indications in the registration form. Please indicate your
preferences and accompanying persons in the application form.
For the 6 nights of the workshop we have negotiated a group
price: as part of the deal, the hotels ask us precise
accommodation plans very much in advance. Please note that late
cancellations and changes would be very difficult to implement
and result in expensive charges. Supported participants from the
network will be accommodated in the hotels by the conference
organization on a first come first serve basis.
Participants from outside the network will be also accommodated
in these hotels within the available places: please find below
the corresponding prices. We can give some assistance to people
who would like to extend their stay in Sozopol on their own in
case they indicate this in the registration form well in advance.
There are also possibilities for renting rooms in private houses,
in particular in the old town. One should note that usually there
is one bathroom serving more than one bedroom.
Participants not supported by the network budget
will be charged a conference fee of
75 EUR plus accommodation and lunches.
