         ALGEBRAIC COHERENT STATES AND SQUEEZING

Abstract.
Eigenstates of general complex linear combination of SU(1,1) generators (su^c(1,1) algebraic
coherent states (ACS)) are constructed and discussed. In case of quadratic boson
representation ACS can exhibit strong both linear and quadratic amplitude squeezing. ACS for
a given Lie group algebra contain the corresponding Perelomov CS with maximal symmetry.
